The Winning Paper is titled “Efficient Hydrodynamic Shape Optimization Using Artificial Neural Network-Based Surrogate Model with Adaptive Sampling Strategy,” authored by students from Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology, BUET paper link. Which was adapted and extended from paper in Proceedings of the 13th International Conference on Electrical and Computer Engineering (ICECE), Students were led by Nayma Hassan Emu and advised by Professor Dr. Zobair Ibn Awal.
The Honorable Mention paper is titled “Neural Network Informed Hydrofoil Optimization Pipeline” authored by students from Stevens Institute of Technology. SIT paper link. Students were led by Andrew Vallent and advised by Dr. Muhammad Hajj.
